The Christmas Day lunch for Seniors at the House of Friendship, organised by Churches Together Lewes Area, is now a well-established tradition. It is one of the most effective ways in which the Lewes churches work together for the benefit of the whole community.

For some years Gretel Scott has generously given her time to act as coordinator for the lunch, but she is not able to do so this year.

So, if the Christmas lunch is to happen, we need to find a new coordinator now! Please would you make an urgent appeal to your church members and invite anyone interested to contact Gretel, who will explain what is involved. Waitrose are standing by to support us financially through their green token scheme in October, so let’s make sure the Christmas Day lunch goes ahead as planned.
