Easter flowers at St Thomas a Becket, Cliffe in Lewes 2016

Our talented team of arrangers transformed the church for the end of Lent and our celebration of Easter as we remember the Risen Christ.

Under co-ordinator Rosemary Muddle, the ancient church’s entire flower team turned out to ensure a colourful display in every nook and cranny.

From the main altar to the windowsills, chancel steps to the font, and sanctuary to the central aisle, every area was enlivened with seasonal blooms.

The huge windowsill under the choir window was transformed by Hannah Thorne into an Easter Garden, replicating Gethsemane in miniature and all the facets of the first Easter.
