The Bishop of Chichester, Dr Martin Warner, reflects on a night he spent sleeping out on the streets to raise awareness of the Turning Tides Charity in his 2019 Easter Video Message https://www.turning-tides.org.uk/ The short video, broadcast today on the Diocesan website [ www.chichester.anglican.org ] features a conversation with Sam – whose story really convinced the Bishop that real-life stories of human beings experiencing resurrection in surprising ways are to be found in the most unexpected of ways.
“Easter is a time when the whole earth seems to be coming alive,” says Dr Warner before going on to say that this is part of the human experience also.
The Bishop interviews Sam and hears how his life has been completely turned around. Life is “exciting[now]; a little bit scary. It feels good,” says Sam.
Dr Warner wishes all in his Diocese a very happy and blessed Easter.
