An ancient ritual will herald the start of the Church’s key fund raising event, which will be held on Saturday 31 August between 10am and 12.30pm in Cliffe Hall. The Charter of 1409, granting the Archbishop of Canterbury the right to hold two fairs each year, will be read at ten o’clock outside the church. Donations for the following stalls would be greatly appreciated:- Home-made cakes & preserves, plants/veg/fruit, interesting items & unwanted gifts, tombola, tin mine, books, stationery items and raffle prizes. (No electrical goods) — Please bring to the Hall from 8am on the day.
We hope family and friends will come along and join in the fun.
Bill and Alan will entertain with musical favourites.
