Our Church is run wholly by our happy team of volunteers. Many are members of our Parochial  Church Council – but there are many more. And we’re always looking for further helpers who enjoy working together to make a difference in our care of this local community.

Ask us about:

• Organising and helping at events for everyone from young kids to the elderly. Everything from cream teas for local residents to running a stall at our Summer and Christmas fairs.
• Promoting our events, especially in social media.
• Clock winding – our ancient clock dates to 1670 and needs hand-winding every day. “The clock is amazing! As it keeps the beat of life” wrote a recent visitor. It’s up 42 steep steps inside the tower. We have a devoted team of volunteers who wind it. If you live nearby in Cliffe, can you spare a few minutes once a week or so? Join our proud crew of winders who will keep the clock chiming the hours for another 350 years. Simple training!
